USA Region of the Roman Union Ursulines Inaugurated

A new chapter began for the Ursulines of the Roman Union in the United States on October 1, 2026, when three provinces officially united to form one USA Region. In a world often marked by division and conflict, the sisters chose a path of unity, inclusion, and shared mission.

"In a world where one nation is fighting against another, where one race is pitted against another, where various groups are seen as the enemy, the Ursulines of the USA chose to come together as Sisters, witnesses to a different way of being.

On October 1, 2026 as we inaugurated this USA Region and our choice of unity and inclusion, we made a statement to the world and to each other.  We pledged our commitment to be the transforming presence of God’s love to the world and to each other.  That is our gift to a fractured world."
