Perpetual vows of Sr Monika in Poland
28/07/2021
Sr Monika Tropper OSU made her perpetual vows before God on 3rd July 2021 in the parish church in Siercza near Wieliczka in the Polish Province.
This moment so important for her was participated by many sisters from other communities. Family, relatives and friends were also present. There were teachers and pupils with their parents from the Ursuline school in Krakow, where she taught, and from the kindergarten in Siercza. There were parishioners as well for whom it was an unusual opportunity to witness the taking of perpetual vows.
The ceremony was presided over by Father Damian Pawlik SJ from Krakow. The musical setting was prepared by a choir of Ursuline Sisters and teachers from the school in Krakow.
Together we thanked God for the grace of our sister's vocation and wished her to persevere in it until the end. It was also an opportunity for everyone to renew their faith and reflect on their own vocation.
