Thank you

The end of the year and the beginning of a new year is a time for evaluation and thanksgiving. Thank you all for the Christmas and New Year wishes and expressions of remembrance sent - there were plenty! We also share a little of what has been happening at the Generalate during this time.

On the last day of the old year 2021, all the communities of the Generalate gathered together to celebrate and express their thanksgiving to God and all those around them. During the recreational meeting, each community did this in different ways: with words, with singing, with a performance or with dancing. The atmosphere was very joyful.

We then went to the chapel for adoration and to give thanks.  At the beginning of the prayer, willing sisters had the opportunity to sing in their own languages songs or hymns of thanksgiving - traditionally sung in their countries at the end of the year.

At around midnight on the terrace we tried to see the fireworks over Rome. However, this year the spectacle was completely different - it required imagination. 😊 The city was tightly enveloped in a dense fog and you could only catch sounds and reflections.
