The reception of new sisters to the noviciate in Rome

On the feast of St Francis, 4 October 2022, we celebrated the entrance of two new sisters into the International Novitiate in Rome.

During the morning Mass, medals of St Angela and St Ursula, which the novices would wear, were blessed, as well as their religious dress, which will remind the sisters every day that they want to put on Christ.

In the afternoon, during Vespers, there was the rite of entrance to the novitiate of Sr Lucie from the Czech Republic and Sr I-Wen from Taiwan. The sisters expressed their desire to follow Christ on the path of the evangelical counsels in our Institute and they received medals, the Constitutions and the Writings of St. Angela in English.

We wish the sisters to have an open heart during this special time of formation and to experience the closeness of St Angela, who continues to inspire with her example of giving oneself totally to Christ.
