Farewell and thank you to Sr Wilma

On 25th March 2023 the Communities living in the Generalate gathered to thank Sr Wilma Haniman who has returned to her Indonesian Province. She gave four years of service in the Generalate Community in Rome.

In the morning, during the Mass for her intention, we thanked God for the gift of Sr Wilma's presence in the community during these years and asked for God's blessing on her. We even tried to sing the Our Father and a song in Indonesian.

In the evening we gathered for a festive dinner, at which Sr Wilma's guests were also present - including her family members: a nun and a priest, who are also in ministry in Italy at the moment. After dinner there was a joyful time of good wishes and performances. Each community tried to prepare whatever they wanted, and something to say goodbye to her. It turned out that we have many musical and other talents.

We wish Sister Wilma a heart always full of the music she loves, and all the best in her new mission in Indonesia.
