Conscious and mature consecrated woman, the future of the Church

"Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you,
I have called you by your name, you are mine ...
for you are precious to me and I love you..."

Isaiah 43:2, 4

From 10 to 14 April 2023, a formation meeting was held in our Generalate house on the topic of "Self-esteem, forgiveness, healing".

It was attended by novices and tertians and their formators from four congregations: Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit, Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Sisters of Notre Dame and the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union.

The mentor was Maria Hogg from Ireland, a teacher and a person with rich life experience.  For a significant part of her life she was a pastoral worker in a prison in London, working for the inmates, helping them to meet God in their situation. She witnessed numerous conversions and inner healings. She also trained teachers in Sierra Leone and raised funds to repair and build schools there.

During the seminar, the novices met together, shared about their life experiences, prayed and spent fruitful time together. And in the inter-congregational novitiate community they experienced the richness and diversity of the Church, as they represented 16 nationalities. In the light of God's Word, the participants looked at their present beliefs, their life experiences, and looked into their inner spaces that needed healing. And in the power of the Holy Spirit, they rediscovered the true value of every person!
