Farewell and thank you to Sr Elena

At the end of May 2024, Sr. Elena Arceze left the community of the Generalate in Rome and returned to the Italian community.

Sr Elena was a member of the international community of the Generalate for about seven years, serving as a sacristan as well as sharing her experience and news of her native Italy and teaching Italian.

We celebrated the Mass for her intentions for the gift of Sr Elena's presence in the community during these years and asked for God's blessing on her. We also were able to make time and go on a trip to Florence - which was Sr Elena's dream. On one of the evenings before her departure we gathered for a festive dinner.

We wish Sister Elena all the best in her new mission on the path of her Ursuline vocation and much joy in what God continues to surprise us with in his love.
