Safeguarding training online

On Monday 17 June 2024, Module 3, of the safeguarding training for Ursuline sisters, our teachers, colleagues and lay collaborators took place, led by Tina Campbell – independent international safeguarding consultant working with religious congregations.  This was the second online meeting on this topic organised by Sr Ann-Marie Gardiner OSU on behalf of the General Council.

The meeting was held in two groups due to the different time zones. There were participants from Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Croatia, Czechia, England, the Generalate, the General Council, Indonesia, Ireland/Wales, Kenya, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southern Africa, Taiwan and Thailand. Participants expressed their appreciation of the content they heard and it stimulated them to ask themselves further questions on the subject.
