The new sisters in the novitiate in Rome

We are pleased that on 1 November 2024, the Solemnity of All Saints, two sisters were received into the European novitiate in the Generalate, Rome.

At the end of the morning Mass, medals of St Angela and St Ursula, which the novices would wear, were blessed, as well as their religious dresses.

The late morning there was the rite of entrance to the novitiate of Sr Andrea from the Croation Province and Sr Bakhita from the Slovak Province. After some readings from the Bible and from the Writings of St Angela the two sisters expressed their desire to follow Christ on the path of the evangelical counsels in our Institute and they received religious dresses, medals, the Constitutions and the Writings of St. Angela in English.

The Provincial Superiors, who welcomed the sisters into the novitiate, expressed their closeness and their prayers for the sisters, as well as their wishes for perseverance in their vocation.

We pray for the new novice sisters, and the Novitiate Mistress - Sr Florence-Marie Le Garrec, to have the light of the Holy Spirit and the companionship of St Angela on the path of formation to the fullness of Ursuline life.
