International Tertianship 2024/2025
21/11/2024
On Friday, November 15, the International Tertianship 2024/2025 began at the Generalate in Rome.
Eight sisters will create an intercultural community. They come from Brazil, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Poland and Slovakia. The director of the tertianship is Sr Elisabeth Marie Ansart from France/Belgium/Spain Province. It is a joy to have two Tildonk Ursulines join the program again this year.
The tertianship is an opportunity
- to spend un-hurried time with Jesus in the Scriptures, grounding our life more firmly in God,
- to experience and savour our internationality,
- to experience a broader and different view of Church,
- to reflect more deeply on our charism, history and heritage as Ursulines,
- to experienced growth, transformation, and intimacy with God during a 30-day silent retreat (starting in January, 15),
- to go on pilgrimage, touching the holy places of our foundations and our Church.
Several of the sisters have been able to have immersion experiences in a few of the provinces. Thank you to those sisters who helped to make these visits possible.
During this year we will join the pilgrims from all over the world and become ourselves “Pilgrims of hope”, 500 years after St Angela herself came to Rome for the Jubilee in 1525.
The tertian Community is very grateful for your prayerful support during this important time in our lives.
