On 27 January, Ursulines from around the world, along with all those spiritually connected to Saint Angela Merici, will come together in spirit to celebrate her feast.

This prayer service for Saint Angela’s feast has been shared by the Heart to Heart Team of the USA Ursulines Roman Union. Special thanks to Sr. Breda O'Shea OSU from the Ireland/Wales Province for preparing this beautiful reflection!

♦ Virtual Pilgrimage to Desenzano

In preparation for the Jubilee Year 2025, with the theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” we warmly invite you to embark on a virtual pilgrimage to Desenzano, the birthplace of Saint Angela.

  • Saint Angela was born around 1474 in Desenzano, Northern Italy.
  • Her family later moved to a farm at Le Grezze, where Angela grew familiar with the serene countryside. She returned to live in the house at Le Grezze, spending about 20 years there.
