International Serviam Day in St. Louis

Serviam was alive and well on Saturday as Ursuline schools throughout the world participated in International Serviam Day by serving their local communities.

More than 70 people served at the province offices in St. Louis, USA, including nine Ursuline Sisters; alumnae, students, faculty and staff at Ursuline Academy - St. Louis; family members and friends.

The volunteers made 640 sandwiches and inspirational notes for the St. Vincent de Paul parish sandwich window, more than 100 Valentine cards for residents of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (including Ursuline Sisters) and 200 bookmarks for Books for STL kids, in addition to collecting 50 cozy blankets for St. Louis Children's Hospital!

It was a joy-filled morning for all who were carrying on the Ursuline tradition of service among friends old and new.
