70th birthday of Sr Susan Flood

On Wednesday, 28 October, we celebrated the 70th birthday of Sr Susan Flood, our Prioress General. It was a special day of thanksgiving for the gift of her life, her vocation and her taking responsibility for the Institute. 70 years is also a beautiful round anniversary, you might say a fullness of life.

In the morning, we prayed for Sr Sue at Mass with all of the community. Then, towards the end of lunch, there was an opportunity to express our wishes to her.
