On December 2 1980, Ursuline Sister Dorothy Kazel, Maryknoll Sisters Ita Ford and Maura Clarke, and lay missionary Jean Donovan, who was serving people in El Salvador, were abducted and murdered by guardsmen. This year is the 40th anniversary of their death.
