Slovenian officials visit Mater Dei School’s Centennial Ursuline Exhibition

On Friday, March 14, 2025, Mater Dei School in Bangkok, Thailand, welcomed Her Excellency Ms. Tanja Fajon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, along with Slovenian dignitaries, including Ambassador Boštjan Malovrh (based in Beijing) and Mr. Leon Marc from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Department for Asia and Oceania.

They were greeted by Sr. Pensri Horae, Provincial Prioress of the Ursulines Thailand, Sr. Prapatsorn Srivorakun, Local Prioress and School Manager, as well as teachers and representatives from the Mater Dei School Student Council.

The delegation visited the 100th Anniversary Exhibition of the Ursulines in Thailand and viewed the paintings of Sr. Xavier Pirc at Mater Dei Chapel.

Gratitude was expressed for the Slovenian missionaries who dedicated their lives to serving Jesus and the Thai people, following the legacy of St. Angela Merici.
