Jubilee Ursuline retreat in Sveti Duh - Slovenia

As we have already experienced, there are different ways of celebrating the Jubilee Year. The sisters from Slovenia invited Ursulines from across Europe to gather at Hiša Kruha (“House of Bread” community) in Sveti Duh for an 8-day retreat.

The spiritual exercises, led by Sr. Irena Mohorič, took place from 2 to 10 August 2025. Among the participants were Ursulines from the provinces of Ireland, France/Belgium/Spain, Croatia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.

It was a wonderful experience of God speaking through His Word and guiding us with the Holy Spirit, uniting us all in the Body of Christ, which is His Church.

We are deeply grateful to God and to the sisters from Slovenia for their open hearts and humble service during those days. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a beautiful tradition we will continue in the future.
