New Postulants in the Indonesia Province

On this grace-filled day, 12 July 2025, nine Ursuline postulants from various regions of Indonesia — Java, Kalimantan, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Flores, and Papua — stepped into the doorway of religious life during the Eucharistic Celebration of Postulant Reception in Yogyakarta.

The Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. E. Martosudjito, Pr., was a sacred and meaningful moment. In his homily, Father reminded the postulants of three essential keys to living out their vocation:

•    Obedience to the rules,
•    The courage to go beyond oneself,
•    Attuning one’s heart to the spirit of the Institute — the Spirit of St. Angela Merici.

Sr. Lita Hasanah, OSU, Provincial of the Ursulines of Indonesia, officially received and warmly welcomed the postulants, in the presence of Ursuline Sisters from Central Java communities, Sr. Ika from Bandung, and several friends and companions of the Sisters.

May their journey be sustained by prayer and hope, as they remain faithful to their calling and committed to their service.
