125 Years of Grace – Ursuline Jubilee Song

Verse 1 – Foundation
From Brescia’s heart a seed took flight,
Angela’s vision, a flame of light.
Donna di fede, coraggio e amore,
Her spirit lives on, forever secure.

Rejoice, Ursuline family!
One heart, one soul, in Christ we sing.
Tukishukuru, tunainua sauti,
125 years of God’s great mercy.

Verse 2 – The Saints’ Inspiration
Ursula’s courage, bold and strong,
Guides our sisters to journey along.
Catherine’s wisdom, gentle and true,
In every mission her spirit renews.

Verse 3 – The Expansion
From Italy’s hills to France’s fair land,
To every nation by God’s own hand.
Across the oceans the Good News spread,
Hope for the young, by the Spirit led.

Verse 4 – The Roman Union
Following the dream of the trailblazing three,
Calvi, Blois, and Rome set the vision free.
In 1900, united we stand,
One global family, God’s work in our hands.

From USA to Europe, Africa’s song,
Asia Pacific, Latin hearts strong.
Bound by love, one mission, one call,
Together in Christ, we give Him our all.

Verse 5 – The Mission Today (Kenya & Beyond)
In Kenya’s soil the Gospel took root,
Bearing the fruit of love’s tender shoot.
Education, justice, peace we proclaim,
In Christ united, we bear His name.

One hundred and twenty-five years in the Pilgrimage of Hope
The story unfolded 
Under the Signs of Hope
The Ursulines follow in the footsteps of La Madre

From Angela to the present day 
Strong faith in God and unity guide their journey 
In the Roman Union 
United for the education of the human person 

From Brescia, to the ends of the earth 
Their fruitful mission
Souls, hearts, minds,
In the courage, perseverance and clarity they have grasped

The Ursulines sing together
For INSIEME's 125th anniversary
Against the tide,
Let us embrace the future with hope
