Day of Gratitude and Hope

In celebration of the transition from the USA Eastern Province to the newly formed USA Region of the Roman Union Ursulines, the Sisters gathered on Friday, 18 September, for a special Day of Gratitude and Hope: gratitude for all that has been and hope for all that lies ahead.

Together, they shared stories, celebrated the many ways they have served and grown as a Province, and reflected on their hopes for this new chapter. Through meaningful rituals, prayer, and reflection, they honoured the journey that brought them to this moment.

The day ended as it began: in community. Holding hands in a circle of gratitude, the Sisters offered a final prayer and blessing before their voices filled the Angela Garden Room with the words of Jan Novotka's We Go Forth:

"We go forth as one, as one we stand strong. Letting go, letting in, we emerge with new wings!"
