The Earth Day

April 22 is determined as ‘Earth Day’. There are resources to pray for Earth Day, sent by the Ursuline JPIC Team from the USA. We are grateful for the resources and information. 

Cardinal Peter K.A. Turkson, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development (DPIHD) on the webinar, 20th April 2021 – “The Road to COP15: About Biodiversity”, spoke about the severe loss of biodiversity each year that affects our ecosystem. If our conduct and treatment of nature is continually abusive, we destroy God’s creation, not only the species of plants and animals but also the habitat for human beings especially the poor. Therefore we are called to recreate life-giving relations with nature and put all efforts to restore nature.
