Paschal time at the Generalate
01/05/2025

Lent and the Paschal Triduum 2025 was a time rich in experiences. We are sharing a small photo chronicle of some events that brightened up the grey of everyday life.
Spring has arrived in our garden for good.
“Pilgrims of hope” - In the Jubilee Year, some sisters made a pilgrimage to the Holy Doors. Some have also served as volunteers.
On some Fridays we had a way of the cross in our community. The Tertians prepared the prayer in the garden. Another time we had the way of the cross prepared by the Novitiate traversing the corridors of the Generalate. We ended on the terrace with a prayerful view through the cross over the city.
Prayer in the garden in honour of St Joseph on March 19.
The Way of the Cross of our deanery - through the streets of our neighbourhood. It began at our parish of St Angela Merici and it lasted three hours during the late evening.
Palm Sunday - some of us went to Mass in St Peter's Square. Other went to other parishes to celebrate the beginning of the Holy Week.
Celebration of the Holy Thursday dinner and Mass in our chapel with the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart Fathers.
Easter - Some of the sisters attended Mass in St Peter's Square and had the opportunity to meet the Holy Father Francis, who appeared in the square - this turned out to be the last meeting with him before he died the following morning.
Others followed the benediction Urbi et Orbi on the TV. None of was thinking it was the accomplishment of his twelve years of service as our shepherd.
The celebration of Pope Francis' funeral on Saturday, April 26.
