May Pilgrimage of the Family Community (Slovenia)

On 9 May 2026, eight families from the “Family Community” took part in a spiritual pilgrimage to Nova Štifta. The day began with a guided introduction to the shrine and a solemn Mass, followed by a time of fellowship that strengthened the sense of community among the participants.

The pilgrimage was marked by a deep atmosphere of prayer and reflection, especially during the visit to the tomb of Servant of God, Magdalena Gornik, where participants listened to her life story, prayed together, and shared moments of silence and gratitude.

In the pilgrimage took part Sr Magdalena Cimerlajt, Ursuline of the Roman Union, whose long-standing, dedicated service to vulnerable people—especially the sick, persons with disabilities, and the poor—deeply inspires the community.

The pilgrimage as a whole became not only a shared journey to sacred places but also a living experience of faith, communion, and gratitude.
